Vibrasonic (1995)

Vibrasonic is by far one of the most authentic sounding psychedelic bands to come out of the 90s. At first listen, you'd swear they were from the 60s. The band is from Sussex, England and is primarily just two members by the names of Victor K. Fitch and Simon Paul Jones. The music is incredibly dense with psychedelic effects, to the point that it's hard to keep track of all the sounds. They also have a heavy surf influence, which dominates their second album Instrumental Vibrations.

Stand-Out Tracks:
"The Sea of Stars"
"The Perpetual Motion Machine" (14 minutes of psychedelic greatness)
"Cloudburst"
"Kingsley J" (One of my favorite psychedelic tracks ever)

"Kingsley J"

Here's a weird video for "Kingsley J"

Cool! never seen this video before, I knew them in Brighton when I lived there, Simon Jones was always recording & making great weird sounds in his flat, they were way ahead of anything that was happening musically at the time. I was just reading an old copy of Record Collector mag & it was saying that awful band Primal Scream sampled them & tried to rip their ideas off but failed miserably as they did`nt have the imagination or the know how.
Found this link to Simon Jones` latest stuff www.tremolorecords.com
still sounds as trippy as ever.

Glad you dig our old LP and glad you put it up for people to hear and i think we may have influenced or at least inspired a few people at one time or another to get "Psychedelic" purely by means of musical osmosis and thats what its all about, without those pioneers from the past we would have never made that record anyway thanks.... that video was funny trip being trust up like hinge and bracket in outer space at toerag ha ha! ,,,,,,,,vic http://www.myspace.com/profvicvibrato

Great to hear from you, Vic. I'm glad I have your support in sharing your old music. I tried to check out your new stuff on your myspace page, but unfortunately none of the songs would load. I look forward to hearing more of your music in the future.
